Lene Elisabeth Berg started as the new Planning Manager in Telia Norway on April 1st. Lene comes from the position as Head of Optical Routing in GlobalConnect, where she has also been a superuser in Smallworld. She will benefit from this competence in her new role at Telia, which also uses Smallworld to document its HFC and FTTH networks.Lene has been involved in GlobalConnect's development for the past 20 years, all the way from the company was named BaneTele, via Ventelo and Broadnet. At the very start of her career, Lene was a shift conductor and customer consultant in the national railroad company for a total of 9 years. So, she has been engaged in communication on several levels, from rails to fiber. - I was ready for new challenges and start my new job as a Planning Manager with great enthusiasm, Lene explains. - Of course, it is a great advantage that I can benefit from my Smallworld competence in my daily work at Telia.

Former Planning Manager Trond Lørenskogen will take on a new role as System Manager and admin for Smallworld in Telia Norway. In his new position, Trond will able to focus on improving processes and tools, supporting network documentation, a responsibility he has had in addition to being Planning Manager, until now. - We are very pleased with recruiting Lene as my successor, she has what it takes for this position, Trond states. - I can now fully focus on the system side, and implement the necessary improvements that will make us even more efficient.We wish Lene and Trond the best of luck in their new positions at Telia Norway and look forward to continuing the good collaboration.
