Key Account Manager in Denmark

About Smallworld Nordic
Smallworld Nordic offers a range of advanced solutions for network operators and infrastructure owners to achieve full control of their networks, such as fiber networks, cable TV, electricity, district heating, gas and street lighting. Smallworld Nordic consists of the companies Smallworld Systems AS in Norway, Breakoutimage AB in Sweden and Breakoutimage A/S in Denmark.

We are 25 employees, had approximately NOK 40 million in turnover in 2021 and expect strong growth in the coming years. We were established in Denmark in 1999 and have offices in Copenhagen and Herning, as well as in Oslo and Stockholm. Our customers are both Nordic, national and regional operators, many of them with very long relationships with us.

Our global product platform, Smallworld, is developed by General Electric (GE), in close collaboration with our customers, and we provide a broad portfolio of training, consultance, add-on modules and customisations.

About the position
Your tasks will primarily consist of maintaining and developing a selection of our existing customer relationships, as well as prospecting and sales to new customers, primarily in Denmark. Our customers are located throughout Scandinavia, which implies some travelling. The position will also include tasks within marketing, events, communication and business development.

We are looking for a person who:

  • has documented results and at least 4 years of experience in sales of IT solutions, systems and advanced software.
  • has 3-5 years of college or university education in technology or economics and knowledge of the IT/telecom/utility market.
  • has an understanding and interest in business-critical processes at our customers.
  • has knowledge of, and is curious about, market development and trends within digitisation, visualisation, process support, consolidation, network technologies etc.
  • speaks and writes fluent Danish and English, and communicates in Norwegian and Swedish.
  • can work structured and purposefully, both in teams and independently.
  • is willing to learn, expresses positive attitudes, seeks business opportunities, is goal-focused and team-oriented.
  • has good communication and dialogue skills towards all levels of customer organization.
  • is a good facilitator of activities and projects with customers.
